"Prog isn't dead - it just smells funny..." Well, fortunately not in this case. This brand new prog opus really smells like fresh and colorful spring flowers! It relies on the old and almost forgotten principle, that a good and simple musical idea is worth a thousand acrobatic riffs. This album is a bouquet of stunning melodies that you're guaranteed to hum all day long, following you even in your dreams. So even in 2017, it's still possible to create prog that's just... heartwarming. David Jackson's idiosyncratic sax and flute sections give it a wonderfully nostalgic VdGG "Pilgrims" feeling, and his daughter's warm and flawless alto vocals are a highly welcome surprise.
